THE 1064 NM (ND:YAG) LASER

THE 2940 NM (ER:YAG) LASER

HOW A SESSION IS PERFORMED
“A careful evaluation of the patient’s skin condition and any medical issues that could affect healing is essential. The session begins with the Nd:YAG 1064 nm for the deep component, followed by the fractional Er:YAG 2940 nm to refine the surface. Performing both treatments in the same session optimizes time and enhances the biological synergy, maximizing results. The fractional 2940 nm laser requires minimal downtime—about 3–5 days of mild redness and rough skin texture. After treatment, moisturizing and emollient creams, soothing, and anti-inflammatory products are applied. Harsh cleansers should be avoided. Strict sun protection is required: high SPF (50+) and no direct sun exposure until the skin is fully healed. After 2–3 days, light makeup may be used if no irritation occurs. Patients usually experience only mild redness, and after a few days, tiny, almost invisible scabs appear.” The session lasts between 20 and 30 minutes.
RESULTS
“Improvements are noticeable after the first session and continue in the following weeks as neocollagenesis matures. The outcome is natural and long-lasting, consistent with a regenerative aesthetic medicine approach.
