Indications

The CFU provides energy in the form of heat (from 65 ° C) to different layers of the skin and the SMAS to stimulate the production of collagen. Collagen is responsible for the appearance of our skin and its production acts directly on elasticity, preventing it from yielding. Depending on the settings of the machinery and the depth of the focused ultrasound used, it will be possible to intervene on different levels of the dermis, producing different results.

Used at its maximum power, CFU is able to intervene on the deepest layer, 13 mm, destroying localized fat cells, both in the body and on the face (thighs, double chin).

Addressed to the most superficial layer (1.5 mm) it will act on the superficial dermis and epidermis to treat enlarged pores and less deep wrinkles.

Use

First, the doctor will speak with the patients to find out more about motivations and to define the treatment that best suits their needs. To facilitate the action of the ultrasounds, a cold gel will be applied on the area to be treated, and at this point the handpiece will be used by sliding it on the skin. The device will send ultrasonic waves at different depths to stimulate the skin based on the desired results.

The treatment is painless and non-invasive, the patient may experience only a slight tingling sensation. Once the session is over, the skin may be slightly red, it will not show bruises or edema. Makeup can be applied without any problems and you can return to your daily activities. In the days following the treatment, slight pain and a feeling of muscle fatigue may appear, similar to that felt after a training session; it is completely normal and it will disappear in the following days.

Duration

A session lasts on average from 15 to 60 minutes depending on the area to be treated (from 15 to 30 minutes for the face, from 30 to 60 minutes for the body). Usually only one session is sufficient to treat a limited area, but if skin laxity is particularly accentuated or the fat mass is in excess, more sessions may be required, to be carried out with intervals of 1 month.

Results

The first results of the CFU treatment are not immediately visible, and it is necessary to wait 2 or 3 months to be able to appreciate the final result. Let’s see what are the benefits that can be obtained on the face and body:

Skin laxity: the treated area will be rejuvenated through a non-surgical lifting, resulting in more compact skin with fewer wrinkles. The final result will partly depend on factors such as age, metabolism, attention to skin care. As a general indication, definitive results will be visible after a month or a month and a half after treatment.

Volume remodeling: on average it will be possible to lose up to one size. The result will depend on factors such as metabolism, age, the patient’s consistency in following the doctor’s instructions. The results will start to be visible at the 3rd or 4th week, while the final results can be appreciated after 2 months or even after more than 3 months.

From the very first session, the skin appears smoother and more compact, the ‘orange peel’ effect will gradually fade away thanks to the triple shaping, firming and regenerating effect.

Roughly, it can range from € 250-500 for facial treatments to € 300-500 for treatments in the abdomen or thighs. Who is the ideal candidate for the ELIFE CFU treatment?

Both women and men with at least 3 cm of fat in a given area can benefit from the treatment. Patients should be of normal weight, with a body mass index (BMI) below 30.

What happens to the fat cells after the treatment with CFU ELIFE?

The affected fat cells give rise to an inflammatory reaction that triggers a healing process. Cells called macrophages remove damaged fat cells and cell debris. Macrophages transport fat through the lymphatic and venous systems to the liver. This process takes about 2-4 weeks.
