Non-surgical blepharoplasty, performed using a state-of-the-art instrument, acts on the excess skin of the eyelids without having to perform incisions. Non-surgical blepharoplasty is performed without anesthesia (if not locally with lidocaine-based ointments). It does not require suturing and it allows the skin to be retracted without incisions and without modifying the orbicular muscle of the eyelids. Unlike traditional surgery, it does not remove excess skin but merely acts on the eyelid skin, increasing its elasticity and thus restoring the skin to the state it was before the imperfection occurred.<\/p>\n

During the treatment, the patient is asked to open and close his eyes. That’s in order to treat only the affected parts and thus avoiding excess skin retraction. At the end of the session, ice packs are applied to the part to reduce any edema.<\/p>\n The patient only needs an antibiotic ointment to prevent any infections. He\/she must be careful while cleansing the treated area and avoid exposure to UV rays. The crusts that form may last from 2 to 7 days and a maximum post-operative period of 10 days and, in any case, without bruising. In case of large amounts of excess skin on the eyelid, it is advisable to carry out the treatment in 3-4 sessions at a distance of one month from each other.
